PURPOSE:To perform the continuous working of a material by arranging two sets or more of the reduction working mechanisms which combine a material feeding device and reduction working method and by setting the force to feed the material located at the tip part in the feeding direction of the material maximum. CONSTITUTION:A feeding device a1 makes the pinching force of a roller stronger and feeds a material (wire) to a heating furnace b1 by the turn of the roller as well, further feeds the wire rod to a rotary swaging machine c1, when the material is inserted into the device a1. The feeding devices a1, a2 release the feeding force in order when the wire proceeds from the feeding device a2 to the device a3. A limit switch is fitted to the feeding device and the pinching force of the wire is increased by the actuation of the cylinder interlocking thereto. The wire is fed by making the pinching force of the roller maximum by the tip-most feeding device. The defects of the breakdown, meandering, etc., of the material can be reduced by this device, the uniformity in the work temp. is held and the working capacity is improved.
