<p>PURPOSE:To simplify control and adjustment of tension by setting a function making a state between every stand noninteractive using a state feedback system and determining a control command for adjustment of the function based on the sign of a feedback matrix. CONSTITUTION:A tension is generated between stands 31 and 32 and a compression occurs between stands 32, 33...3N when a roll peripheral speed of a rolling roll 32 is raised by change of a speed setting or a disturbance. The signs of a speed feedback high matrix 51 and a low matrix 52 are assumed as plus and minus, respectively; also the signs of an adjustable speed torque feedback high matrix 53 and a low matrix 54 are assumed as plus and minus, respectively. Then, a speed-down command is outputted to the stand 31 and a speed-up command is outputted to the stand 32 and succeeding stands by a raised peripheral speed of the stand 32. In this method, control and adjustment of tension are simplified through a solution of a simple inequality.</p> |
