PURPOSE:To confirm a flowing condition of molten metal with the eye and to use a mold repeatedly by combining integrally plural divided molds forming by transparent silicone rubber in one body. CONSTITUTION:The model mold M for casting test is combined to form a cavity C by a lower divided mold 1 and an upper divided mold 2, made of silicone rubber for both molds. A transparent reinforced plate 3 on a bottom face of the lower divided mold is supported by lower wall parts 6a, 9a of U-shaped metal fittings 6, 9 and a transparent reinforced plate 4 on the upper face of the upper divided mold is tightened by bolts 7, 10, which pass through the upper parts 6c, 9c of the metal fitting 6, 9 and these plates and molds are combined integrally in one body. A colored viscous material, consisting of colored plaster or urethane series resin, etc., is flowed from sprue P into the cavity C of the mold M, and then some positions, at where flow of the viscous material is slow or does not fill up, are confirmed by the eye.
