PURPOSE:To obtain the titled toner capable of obtaining large copy volumes of clear blue images having a high color density without affecting an effect of changing temp. and humidity by incorporating a small amount of a coloring agent composed of a specific anthraquinone derivative to the titled toner. CONSTITUTION:The anthraquinone derivative shown by formula I is used as the coloring agent. The additional amount of the coloring agent to the titled toner is preferably 0.5-10pts.wt. on the weight basis of 100pts.wt a binding resin. When the additional amount of the coloring agent is less than said range, the coloring effect of the blue color is poor. While, when the additional amount of the coloring agent is more than said range, the fixing property of the coloring agent to the titled toner reduces. As the charge controlling agent of the toner, the metallic salt (especially, zinc salt) of a salicylic acid or its salt of salicylic acid derivatives may be effectively used. The electrostatic charge controlling agent may be the compd. shown by formula II wherein R<3>-R<5> are each hydrogen or 1-10C an alkyl or an aryl group, preferably hydrogen atom or 1-6C an alkyl or aryl group, R<3>-R<5> may be same or different with each other. Me is further preferably zinc. |
