In the aseptic treatment of water pretreated water is introduced into a vessel and pumped via a sterile filter from the bottom of the vessel to the top part. There the recirculated water is mixed in a valve device with fresh water and the mixt. runs down the inside of the vessel in a thin layer to the water level.
