In the hose filter for pressure filtration, the filter hose serving as the filter element is completely surrounded on the outside by a fluid-permeable pressure-retaining fabric, in particular a steel wire fabric. This allows the hose filter to be operated at a high internal pressure and without or with only a slight positive pressure on the filtrate side. The hose filters can be used as modules for assembling pressure filtration apparatuses of virtually any desired configuration. To increase the flow velocity of the medium to be treated across the filter surface, volume reduction bodies are preferably provided in the hoses. |
