EXAMPLE:7beta-( 4-Chloro-3-oxo-2-methoxyiminobutyrylamido )-3-[4-(oxazol-5-yl)-1- pyridinio]methyl-3-cephem-4-carboxylate hydrochloride. USE:An intermediate for producing a compound expressed by formula II useful as an antimicrobial agent and exhibiting strong activity of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. PREPARATION:For example, according to the reaction formula, a reactive derivative of a compound expressed by formula III is subjected to action while cooling with a solution of a solvent such as acetonitrile wherein a compound expressed by formula IV is homogeneously dispersed.
