PURPOSE:A safe, pollution-free controller for blight of rice plants, showing improved controlling effects especially on blast and helminthosporium leaf spot of rice plant, causing no pollution problems such as environmental pollution, etc., comprising industrially readily obtainable rosin amine as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:The titled controller containing a rosin amine such as Amine D (manufactured by Hercules Inc. USA) containing 18-aminoabieta-8,11,13-triene as a main component, obtained from natural rosin such as gum rosin, wood rosin, tall oil rosin, etc., or disproportinated rosin prepared by disproportionating the natural rosin as a raw material by successive nitrile formation reaction and hydrogenating reaction, as an active ingredient. The active ingredient may be cause alone, blended with a proper carrier and auxiliary, prepared into wettable powder, dust, emulsion, granule, etc., and used. The amount of the active ingredient added to various preparations is 10-90wt% in the case of emulsion, wettable powder, etc., and properly 0.1-10wt% in the case of dust, oil agent etc.
