<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the tape from ending suddenly by providing a variable load means whose drive load is changed in response to frequency of revolutions of a reel turntable and increasing the drive load of the driven side in the vicinity of the end of winding so as to decrease the number of revolutions. CONSTITUTION:When the frequency of revolutions of a supply reel 14 is large, that is, at the end of winding, a centrifugal force exerted to a magnet 21 is large and overcomes the energizing force of an energizing spring 21, then the magnet 21 is moved to the outside and when the magnet comes to a position opposed to a loss member 23, a magnetic loop is formed between the magnet 21 and the loss member 23, an eddy current is generated and the drive load of the supply reel 14 is increased. That is, the drive load of the supply reel 14 is increased at the end of winding only, the frequency of revolutions of the supply reel 14 is lowered to prevent the tape from ending abruptly.</p> |
