PURPOSE:To prevent excessive rise in discharge temp. and increase in driving torque by making a high pressure gaseous body remaining in an operating chamber in a position right before the end of discharge, flow out into an operating chamber precedingly positioned on a suction side, via a connecting passage formed in rotor. CONSTITUTION:When a vane 7 comes right before the cut-off part 23 of a discharge port 3 by rotating a rotor 4, a connecting passage 20 formed inside the rotor 4 connects an operating chamber 21P positioned right before the end of discharge, to an operating chamber 21Q on a suction side preceding to it. Thereby, a remaining high pressure gas in the operating chamber 21P flows into the operating chamber 21Q right before a suction stroke, to give a rotary force to the vane 7 due to expansion work while reduce suction capacity, thereby, preventing rise in discharge temp. and increase in driving force resulting from high compression ratio.
