PURPOSE:To obtain a device which is miniaturized and simplified in mechanism by providing a charging means to charge a photosensitive body to a positive, negative and optional plarities and a developing means to use two types of the powder toner mixing systems colored to a different color and to charge mutually to the reverse polarity. CONSTITUTION:Two types of the Teflon iron powder and a black toner and a silicon coat ferrite carrier and a red toner are mixed so that the toner density can be 1:1, and inserted into a developing device 34. Next, when by the A/B of a selecting button 48, a switch SW2 is changed over and by an electric power source 28/30, the voltage of the positive/negative polarity is impressed, a black/ red toner is charged to the positive/negative by the friction with the iron powder/ferrite carrier, transferred to a transfer paper, stabilized, and then, the electrostatic force with the carrier and the toner is larger than the electrostatic force of the toners themselves, and therefore, the red/black image without the mixed color can be obtained. At the time of coating the carrier, a conductive material is mixed, the low resistance is executed, and then, the opposing electrode effect of the carrier is strengthened, and the trimming due to the edge effect is prevented.
