The invention relates to a support device for a carried, pulled or pushed reversible plough, of the type with a hanging wheel. The hanging assembly according to the invention is suspended from a spindle 12 arranged both in the median plane of the plough and in a plane parallel to the plane of the counter-stock; the wheel 6 of this hanging assembly can be locked, in the working position, in a plane parallel to the said plane of the counter-stock. The arm 11 of the hanging assembly is arranged in a substantially vertical fashion behind a wide U-shaped plate 4 to which it is locked for the various positions for working on the one hand and for transportation on the other hand. <IMAGE>
