PURPOSE:To forecast the future value of a controlled variable and to improve the stability and adaptability of a control system by using >= three time series data including the up-to-date value of the controlled variable and adopting the added results of values obtained by multiplying the time series data by respectively proper factors. CONSTITUTION:A signal obtained by newly adding a compensating signal Z to an output signal of a PL controller 1 based on an ordinarily used computer is used as an operation signal. Namely, at least three time series data including the up-to-date data of the controlled variable are stored in a sampling data storage device 5 and signals obtained by multiplying the time series data by respectively proper factors are added to form a compensating signals Z=axN+ bxN-1+cxN-2. Wherein, (a)-(c) are factors (a+b+c=0) and xN-xN-2 are the time series data of the control variable. The compensating signal Z can advance the phase of the control variable (x) remarkably by combining the factors (a)-(c) properly, so that the characteristics of the whole control system can be improved.
