Inclined module for closing the mould for manufacturing hollow bodies made from thermoplastic material. In a machine for forming, by means of blow moulding, hollow bodies made from thermoplastic material, a module 2 enables two half-moulds 17, 18 disposed on tool-carrying plates 14 and 15 to be opened or closed, so that the closing and opening forces are exerted in a closure plane S perpendicular to the parting line of the half-moulds; a transport device 3 brings the module 2 into the various work stations. In order to create free-access zones close to the parting line of the half-moulds, the module 2 is placed on the device 3 so that the closure plane of the module 2 makes an angle alpha with the direction T of movement of the transport device 3. <IMAGE>
