The subject of the invention is a horizontal drilling device produced from two single-acting hydraulic bending-press jacks 6 mounted on a metal framework 3 and each fed by a high-pressure piston pump 7 coupled to a drive motor 20. In this tube pusher the hydraulic coupling of the cylinders is produced with the aid of flexible piping whilst a jaw holder 15 equipped with self-clamping jaws mechanically couples the pistons of the said jacks fixed to the framework which acts as a support plate transmitting the force developed to the wedging installed against the rear wall of the ditch 1. This apparatus is used for positioning pipelines under a road without damaging the surface and without interrupting the traffic. <IMAGE>
