PURPOSE:To easily reproduce am image with a different character by selecting either of two developing rollers providing a fixing magnetic pole or a rotary magnetic pole inside. CONSTITUTION:A developer 111 is adsorbed into a developing sleeve 107 providing a fixing magnetic pole 106 inside, regulated by an crest regulating plate 108 with the rotation in the B direction of the arrow, and develops the electrostatic latent image of a photosensitive body 104 at a developing area 21. A part of the developer is adsorbed to a developing sleeve 102 rotating in the C direction of an arrow, and conveyed in the C direction of an arrow by the rotation of the B direction of an arrow of a rotary magnetic pole 101 provided inside. Consequently, either of the developing rolls is selected, and the image of the picture quality with a different character can be easily reproduced.
