PURPOSE:To reduce a ripple component contained in tube voltage, by performing sriving control over a voltage regulating part and an inverter part, while making frequency of both ripple components to be produced in the voltage regulating part and the inverter part either accord with each other, and installing a control part giving the specified phase difference to an interval between both parts. CONSTITUTION:Three-phase AC voltage is converted into DC voltage by a rectidying smooth part 10, and this converted AC voltage is inputted into a chopper part 12 and offered to regulate the voltage. Transistors Q1 and Q2 in an inverter part 13 are alternately opened and closed in accordance with a driving pulse out of an inverter control circuit 18a so that inverter output comes to an AC waveform. And, the transistor Q1 at the chopper part 12 opens or closes in accordance with a driving pulse out of a chopper control circuit 18c. Since phase of this driving pulse is more delayed, for example, as far as 180 deg. than the phase of a pulse signal, an actual ripple component contained in tube voltage is reduced, and suchlike tube voltage is impressed on an X-ray tube 16, thus it is offered to generate X-rays.
