PURPOSE:To obtain a silver halide photographic sensitive material superior in coatability, releasability, storage stability, and antistaticness by regulating an amount of fluorine-containing matting agent to a specified proportion of the sum of the said agent and a surfactant or more. CONSTITUTION:At least one of the surfaces of the photographic sensitive material is roughened by adding the fluorine-containing matting agent in an amount of >=85wt% of the sum of it and the surfactant, and the outermost layer for forming the surface contains the fluorine-containing surfactant in unlike amounts dependent on the compound to be used, and it is adequate to use it in an amount of 0.1-100mg/m<2>, preferably, 1.5-50mg/m<2>. As mentioned above, said matting agent is effective when it is used in an amount of >=85wt% of the sum of it and the surfactant, preferably, in an amount of <=95wt%, but if its amount is made less than 85wt%, retentivity of antistaticness and coatability greatly deteriorate. |
