PURPOSE:To obtain an image of sufficiently high contrast under conditions including high temp. and humidity by using a compound represented by a specified formula. CONSTITUTION:One or more kinds of compounds represented by the formula are incorporated into a silver halide photographic sensitive material. The compounds may be used in combination with other tetrazolium compound. The tetrazolium compounds are incorporated into a silver halide emulsion layer and/or a hydrophilic colloidal layer adjacent to the silver halide emulsion layer. The preferred amount of the compounds used is about 1mg-10g, especially about 10mg-1g per 1mol silver halide in the silver halide photographic sensitive material. Thus, a stable dot picture of high contrast and superior quality can be obtd. even under conditions including high temp. and humidity. The picture has no fringe. |
