PURPOSE:To prevent the wear of tuyeres and the thermal damage of a lance for blowing by forming the lance with double pipes, ejecting air from the outside pipe and a mixture composed of granular particles and air from the inside pipe and specifying the flow rate of the air passing the outside pipe to a specific value or above. CONSTITUTION:The lance 6 for blowing is constituted of double pipes consisting of the inside pipe 5a and the outside pipe 5b coxially disposed to the outside thereof. The inside pipe 5a is connected via a shut off valve 11 to a granular particle supplying pipe 7 and discharges the granular particles 12. The outside pipe 5b ejects the air controlled in flow rate by a flow rate control, valve 10. The air passing the outside pipe 5b is always kept at >=12m per second by measuring the flow rate of the air supplied by an air supply pipe 8 by an orifice 9 and controlling the opening degree of the valve 10. |
