PURPOSE:To obtain a device having the light emitting characteristic without an energy loss in the full light emitting condition while the control is easy in the dimming condition by providing a changing-over means to interlock to a full light emitting condition selecting operation. CONSTITUTION:When switches 44/43 are turned off/on in the dimming condition, the characteristic is obtained in which a signal is outputted, for a constant time from a time circuit 28 to a trigger circuit 21, a flash discharging tube 27 emits the light with a smooth rise characteristic by a large capacity inductance L19, after the prescribed time, a signal is outputted from a delaying circuit 30 to a switching circuit 6, the rise is drastically executed by the L20 of a small capacity and thereafter, the fall is smoothly executed. Next, when a dimming circuit 42 inputs a signal, a light quantity control circuit 31 stops the light emission. When the switches 44/43 are turned on/off in the full light emitting condition, the circuit 21 is turned on, the circuit 30 is shorted, the circuit 6 is also turned on, the circuit 31 does not stop the light emission, the energy ratio of capacitors 16 and 15 to release toward the discharging tube 27 is specified, and then, the full light emission with the energy loss as zero can be executed. |
