PURPOSE:To form such an air button cell that is little in internal resistance and excellent in unsealing storage capacity, by using a film made up of installing a cellulose layer in a woven fabric or a nonwoven fabric as a separator. CONSTITUTION:This cell is provided with a negative electrode making zinc an active material, a positive electrode consisting of an air pole using a catalyzer such as a manganic oxide, a separator separating positive and negative electrodes in use and an alkaline electrolyte. And, as the separator, such a film that installs a cellulose layer in a woven fabric or a nonwoven fabric is used. According to this constitution, air bubbles are in no case entered in space between the separator 4 and the air pole 5, and internal resistance becomes lowered. Even in case of storage at a state of removing a sheet of sealing paper, a clearance between the separator and the air pole is in no case dried, and a rise in the internal resistance at the time of unsealing storage is nothing. In addition, even in case of unsealing storage, shelf life is excellent. |
