The subject of the invention relates to the technical sector of medical sciences. According to the invention, the framework 2 of the cradle 1 has transverse sides 2a-2b whose internal opposing faces are arranged in order to allow in pairs the mounting of the cradle 1 with a 360 DEG angular pivoting capacity in combination with roller bearing members 3 belonging to the transverse ends of the said cradle 1, which cradle is furthermore fitted with temporary locking means interacting with corresponding parts of means 5-6 belonging to the internal faces of the transverse sides 2a-2b of the framework 2, with a view to ensuring locking in the desired angular position of the cradle 1. <IMAGE>
