发明名称 MOLDING METHOD USING CERAMIC AND METALLIC POWDER
摘要 PURPOSE:To directly form an intricately shaped body having a high density by using a small amt. of binder by forming a green compact from ceramic powder by using SI process, coating the entire surface thereof with rubber, etc. and subjecting the coated body to cold hydrostatic pressurization. CONSTITUTION:The ceramic or metallic powder is kneaded in the presence of an extremely small amt. of a high-polymer binder and water added thereto to prepare a slurry having a high viscosity (about 10<3>-10<5> poises). The slurry is injected by an injection molding machine into a mold made of a porous body under about 40-400kg/cm<2> pressure and the pressure is held to dehydrate the slurry and to form the green compact in which the powders are entangled with each other. After such green compact is dried, a coating material such as rubber is coated thereon by spraying etc. to about 2-3mm. The green compact is then subjected to the cold hydrostatic pressurization (CIP) and is calcined. The smaller amt. of the binder is thereby required and the ceramic or metallic powder is molded with the shorter time for the calcination over the entire part.
