PURPOSE:To enable an opening to be formed so as to improve the work efficiency by coating the inside surface of a glass tube with light reflecting material such as titanium oxide suspended in water-soluble polyethylene oxide and, after drying, scraping it off the opening. CONSTITUTION:A light reflecting material suspended in a water-soluble binder of polyethylene oxide is applied to the inside surface of a glass tube. After said material being dried, an opening is formed. Namely, titanium oxide as a light reflecting material is suspended is suspended in various binder solutions, and the suspension is applied to the inner surface of a glass tube to form a light reflecting layer of titanium oxide after drying. When the bonding strength between the glass tube and titanium oxide is studied, bonding of the glass tube to titanium oxide reflecting layer is weak and the portion of opening can easily be scraped off, when the binder is water-soluble polyethylene oxide. By this process, work efficiency can be improved.
