Device permitting the loading and unloading of tools and, in particular, of moulds on an injection press and, especially, the preparation of a new mould during the injection phase of the mould in place in the press. It is composed of a frame 9 on which two plates 13 travel in a horizontal translational movement parallel to the axis of the press, each of these plates carrying a line of rolls 15 and a line of rollers 16 which are intended for inserting or extracting the mould in the injection press, these lines being disposed perpendicularly to this translational movement. Each plate may be brought, independently of the other, either opposite the zone for inserting or for extracting the mould or to one of the ends of the frame corresponding to a station for removing the mould or a station for preparing the mould. <IMAGE>
