PURPOSE:To reduce the titled system in cost attended with the centralization of subscribers by sharing a message transmission to a subscriber line in the free response state to a message sending section and adding the automatic answering function in the unit of telephone set groups. CONSTITUTION:A single message sending section 5 used in common at each subscriber line adaptor is provided to a centralized automatic answering system. In acivating the automatic answering function, a changeover contact in connection changeover circuits 4a-4n is thrown to the upper position and each of subscriber lines 1a-1n is connected to automatic response circuits 3a-3n. On the other hand, contacts d1, d2 of a reply signal sending relay D connect message transmission lines M1, M2 of the message transmission circuit 5 to the subscriber line 1a via an automatic reply circuit 3a. A ground level is fed to a start line S of the message sending circuit 5 at the same time. The reproduction of the message recorded in advance in the message sending circuit 5 is started and sent to the subscriber line 1a via the automatic reply circuit 3a and the connection changeover circuit 4a.
