摘要 |
PURPOSE:To improve the operation speed of LSI and to use a chip area effectively by a method wherein a cell having an amplifying function is disposed in a space region inside an outer frame of each block and a wiring between blocks is connected to the cell so as to amplify signals coming and outgoing between the blocks. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of cell trains 3 formed by arranging cells 2 are connected to one another, whereby a circuit inside a block is formed. A variety of blocks prepared in this way are arranged and connected to one another. A connection 6 between blocks is made by using a channel region between the blocks. A buffer cell 5 is disposed in a space region 4 between the cell trains of each block and a outer frame of the blocks and is connected with the interblock wiring on the channel region, and thereby signals having attenuated can be amplified.
