PURPOSE:To prevent such a miscopy that copy density is different in the middle from being taken by initializing a scanning means and performing copy processing for a previously fed form when exposure settings are changed before a registration means operates. CONSTITUTION:A paper feed roller is turned on and a scan clutch is turned on to start scanning operation. If an exposure setting key is turned on during the scanning operation, a flag RST1 is set, the scan clutch is turned off, and a return clutch is turned on. An original platen stops and is drawn back to the scan start position and a scan start position signal is turned on, so that the flag RST1 is reset. At this point of time, a paper feed flag is still on, so the scan clutch is turned on immediately to start the scanning operation; and a registration gate is turned on and the form which is fed previously and stands by at the registration gate is conveyed. A registration signal is turned on to set a registration gate flag and reset the paper feed flag. |
