PURPOSE:To reduce the size and to raise the torque of a step motor by laminating a pair of magnet plates through a magnetic plate, and arranging pole tooth corresponding to the magnet plates by displacing a predetermined electric angle from each other, thereby efficiently utilizing the magnetic force between the magnet plates and the pole teeth. CONSTITUTION:A step motor is composed of a housing 1, a stator 2 fixed to a predetermined position of the housing 1, and a rotor 3 in which a rotational shaft 33 is inserted to a rotor disc 35. The rotor disc 35 is composed by laminating a pair of magnet plates 31 through a magnetic plate 32. Corresponding positions of both the plates 31 are magnetized in different polarity in a circumferential direction, and pole teeth 22 corresponding to the plates 31 are arranged by displacing pi/2 of an electric angle from each other.
