发明名称 LINEAR LIGHTING DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To attain the linear lighting with the excellent utilizing efficiency of luminescent energy of a light source, very thin width of several 100mum and uniform illuminance in a longitudinal direction by forming the titled device with a light conducting member having a fluorescent substance, introducing light from the face into the thick part of the member and leading the light to the thin linear end face of the member and a light source arranged in opposition to the light introducing face of the member. CONSTITUTION:A fluorescent light (f) is irradiated in the thick part of the light conducting member 1 at random, most of the light is propagated and led through the thickness of the member in the direction of end face according to the rule of the total reflection, and a part of the light goes to the outside of the member 1 from a member face 11 as a light at the outside of acquisition region. Further, a part of the fluorescent light (f) propagated and led to the end face of member is absorbed by other fluorescent substance but most of the remaining light is irradiated (l) from each part of the end face 12 of the member with a uniform light intensity externally. The light source is arranged opposed to the light intake face of the member, the width W of the end face 12 being a light irradiating part of the member is selected to be very thin (e.g., 100mum) and the length of the end face part 12 is selected to be a required length so as to attain the lighting (l) with prescribed very thin width along a prescribed lighting line in the longitudinal direction with a uniform illuminance.
