The invention relates to a turnbuckle device for bracing two concrete-shuttering elements, having a frame and a shuttering skin fastened thereon, with respect to each other along a joint which is spanned by the turnbuckle. Said turnbuckle device has at least two claws which are I-shaped in principle and are arranged one next to the other. One leg of each of the claws engages behind in each case one bearing surface of each shuttering element and, at this point of engagement, at least one of the two parts bearing on each other has an oblique surface. The other legs of each of the claws run one next to the other on that side of the frame leg directed away from the shuttering skin, the legs of at least one claw bear on this side, and bracing means generating a force component parallel to the shuttering plane engage on said legs.
