PURPOSE:To safely store a photographic sensitive material in a space without increasing fog by putting a specified compound in the space in which the sensitive material is isolated from the open air. CONSTITUTION:When a photographic sensitive material is stored in a certain space in which it is isolated from the open air, at least one kind of compound selected among oxide, hydroxides, chlorides, carbonates and hydrogencarbonates each contg. an atom selected among the group I and II atoms except H, B, Al, Pb, Cr, Mn, Co and Ni is put in the space at a position in the vicinity of the sensitive material. Calcium oxide, magnesium oxide or magnesium hydroxide are preferably used as the compound. The preferred amount of the compound is <=3g per one product. |
