PURPOSE:To reduce the number of members and to restrict the height of a reel turntable by providing a cutting and connecting means that cuts and connects a driving disk and a clutch force transmitting disk selectively according to difference in the direction of takeup of a tape and making a clutch section give different clutch torque according to the difference in the direction of takeup. CONSTITUTION:When a driving disk 20 rotates in the direction of the arrow mark 33, the restriction of a clutch force transmitting disk 22 by a spring 23 is removed, and a clutch force transmitting disk 26 rotates integrally with the driving disk 20, and the clutch force transmitting disk 22 is rotated integrally with a cylindrical body 28 by frictional force between the bottom of the cylindrical body 28 given by the energizing force of a spring 29. A center pulley 30 rotates with it, and the turning force is transmitted to the reel turntable 31 through an idler 32, and a tape is wound on a reel 3 side in takeup torque corresponding to relatively small clutch torque, and the desired normal rotation reproduction is performed.
