PURPOSE:To produce an artificial dirt cloth for measuring detergency by incorporating specific ratios of specific 4 components into the dirt. CONSTITUTION:The artificial dirt for measuring the detergency consists of the 4 components; A-D. The ratio of the component A is 3-12wt%, the ratio of the component B 10-75wt%, the ratio of the component C 20-40wt%, and the ratio of the component D 0.1-1.0wt%. The component A consists of water soluble protein and the component B consists of the org. component having the compsn. consisting of 25-65wt% oleic acid and linolic acid, 10-30wt% cholesterol ester of the oleic acid and linolic acid, 10-40wt% triglyceride of the oleic acid and linolic acid, 1-8wt% squalene, 1-8wt% liquid paraffin and 1-8wt% cholesterol. The component C consists of the soil contg. >=60wt% soil of the particles having <=2mu grain size and the component D consists of carbon black. The dirt liquid is prepd. by dissolving the component A into warm water, adding the component D and the component C to the soln., uniformly dispersing the components, adding the component B thereto and uniformly dispersing these components. The artificial dirt cloth is produced from such soln.
