<p>PURPOSE:To improve the separating performance for sheets by providing a second separating means for removing a sheet which follows a sheet being conveyed by a second feeding means. CONSTITUTION:Due to the rotation of a rotary shaft 179, a kick roller 321 is rotated in a sheet coveying direction via a pulley 313, a belt 325, and a pulley 323, while arms 311, 317 are rotated downward. As the arms 311, 317 are rotated and when the kick roller 321 is brought into contact with a sheet, load is applied to the arms causing spring clutches 309, 315 to slip, and the kick roller 321 is brought into contact with the sheet with a certain force. When the kick roller 321 is brought into contact with the sheet, the sheet is rolled out and, first a separating operation is carried out by means of feed rollers 183 and a separating roller 197. Then, the second separating operation is carried out by means of the following feed rollers 329 and a separating roller.</p> |
