PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of deformation due to long term press of a sheet material, by providing a control means which actuates a lifter moving means along with motion related to formation of a picture. CONSTITUTION:A filter support shaft 5 and a lifter 6 are disposed facing on the mounting and demounting port of a duplicator body. A lifter moving panel 33 (lifter moving means) is disposed to the lifter supporting shaft 5 in a manner to face on a gear 26b of a latchet gear 26. With a fan-shaped gear 33a at the tip of the lifter moving panel 33 engaged with the gear 26b, a tip part 6a of the lifter 6 is moved upward. In which case, with a copy button depressed, an electromagnetic clutch 22 (control means) is actuated, rotation of a driving gear 23 is transmitted to the fan-shaped gear 33a of the lifter moving panel 33 through the gear 26. As a result, since a lift means is not raised before copy motion is started, deformation due to long term press of a sheet material is hard to occur.
