PURPOSE:To constitute a collection part which is free from danger and easy in maintenance by opposing both a metallic plate regulated to ground potential and an electret wherein the surface is electrically regulated to positive polarity in the downstream of an electric charge part. CONSTITUTION:In an air filter used with an electret for air conditioning of a general building, an electric charge part 6 and a collection part 7 are provided and in the electric charge part 6, a tungsten wire 10 is made to high potential and provided between two sheets of metallic plates 8, 9 regulated to ground voltage and in the collection part 7, two or more sheets of metallic plates 11 wherein the electrets 12 are stuck on one face of the metallic plates 11 so that the positive polar faces thereof are made to the surfaces are provided while keeping a flow interval of air and each metallic plate 11 is regulated to ground potential. In such a way, the collection part which is free from danger due to high voltage and easy in maintenance is constituted.
