YARN BREAK DETECTOR, YARN-CUTTING METHOD IN TWISTERS AND TWISTERS

PURPOSE:The titled device which cuts the yarn, when it has been once wound up around the bobbin and taken out back by filaments wrapping round the roller, and detects the yarn break and suspends yarn feed whereby the amount of the yarn wrapping around the roller is reduced. CONSTITUTION:A part of filaments in the yarn Y break and wind round the roller 2, thus the yarn Y which has been once wound round the bobbin 1 is pulled out through the traveller 8 in the arrow direction. The yarn is guided to the yarn cutter 9 and cut by the blade after being folded at an angle of - or + 2 (less than 170 deg.). The yarn break detector 6 detects a yarn breakage and operates the cutter in the yarn feeder.
