PURPOSE:To eliminate such a manual work as a conventional one so as to improve the efficiency of machining a table board for obtaining a machining means covering a wide range, by facilitating transport of the milling cutter unit in the caption to any desired position so that it can be placed on the table board by means of an electromagnet. CONSTITUTION:A saddle member 9 is slidably mounted over the upper face of an H-shape frame 1 and made movable longitudinally. And the saddle member 9 is provided with an attachment 22 having a cutter 27. And a large electromagnet 35 is normally installed near both ends of the lower face of a base plate 31 so as to be adsorbed to and detached from the table board of the press. And the milling cutter unit constituted in such a way as mentioned above is transported to a desired place by means of a truck etc. and installed on the table board of a press machine, and adsorbed to the electromagnetic magnet 35 by electrifying, and placing work is performed with the cutter 27. Therefore, conventional manual work can be eliminated and the efficiency of machining the table board etc. can be improved. Furthermore, a machining means covering a wide range can be obtained by replacing the attachment 22 so that application range can be widened.
