PURPOSE:To obtain good input/output characteristics without increasing 1 passing loss by only changing a diameter of a magnet, by making the diameter of the first magnet smaller than the diameter of the second magnet, when the length between input and output terminals is 1.8-2.1 times of 1/4 wavelength of a working frequency. CONSTITUTION:On a magnetic material substrate 1 which has vapor-deposited or printed a conductor substrate 9, a three-branch conductor 2 which has added a resistor 3 to the end of a one-branch for making a microwave pass through is provided, and columnar magnets 5, 6 for applying a magnetic field to the conductor 2 are opposed to each other so as to insert and hold the substrate 1 and a branch part of the conductor 2, and fixed by spacers 4a, 4b, respectively. Length of the diameter of the magnet 5 is shorter than length of the diameter of the magnet 6. According to this constitution, when length between input and output terminals is 1.8-2.1 times of 1/4 wavelength of a working frequency, it does not coincide with an intrinsic resonance frequency of a drop-in isolator by a variation of a distribution of a magnetic field, therefore, a passing loss of a microwave does not increase.
