PURPOSE:To prepare the titled gear at high accuracy and easily, by shaping a rack tooth to a stock with compression molding under heating, then by intermeshing at syncline angle a revolving drape mold which is shaped with same tooth profile as objective 'deviation' surface toothed gear to roll under heating. CONSTITUTION:First of all at compression under heating molding machine there is formed a radial male rack teeth form having same number of teeth and module as 'deviation' surface toothed gear to be prepared. When a mold 1 is heated to the neighborhood of heat deformation temperature of a stock W and is pressed against the end of the stock W by required pressure rack teeth are formed in the stock W. At a rolling under heating machine the stock W where rack teeth are formed at the end is inserted into a work holding jig 26, and the center O of rocking at the time of assembling the surface toothed gear is positioned so as to consist with a center of pivotal axis 29, and is inclined against tool axis 22 at syncline angle SIGMA. Thereafter under the temperature in the neighborhood of heat deformation temperature of the stock W, a revolving drape mold 21 where same tooth form as objective 'deviation' surface toothed gear are formed is intermeshed with the rack teeth of the stock W and is pressed to be revolved. Then 'deviation' surface toothed gear is formed at the stock W.
