PURPOSE:To reduce noise and vibration in a bottom-expanded pile work by a method in which a solidifying agent in a sol state is injected into a scoured hole on the lower end of a guide tube set in a hollow pile driven into the ground to expand and harden the scoured hole. CONSTITUTION:A guide tube 1 of a water-tight structure is set in the hollow P' of a hollow pile P driven into a pit drilled in the ground, and a driving body 2 with a pointed tip 22 is fitted into the tube 1 in a vertically movable manner. An aperture 4 is formed in the hollow P' with the tube 1, a buffer spring is provided between the tube 1 and the driving body 2, and a driving part 3 consisting of a weight and a wire is provided in the tube 1. A solidifying agent D in a sol state, e.g., cement mortar is injected through an injection tube 6 into scoured hole B formed on the bottom of the pile P, and the weight of the driving part 3 is dropped to lower the body 2 in order to expand the scoured hole B'. The apparatus is removed and the agent D is hardened. Noise and vibration can thus be reduced, the construction work can be speeded up, and the cost of the construction work can be curtailed.
