<p>The spectacle frame is translucent and comprises two parts each suitable for enclosing a spectacle lens, a bridge for the nose, and side pieces. A channel (5) cut into the said enclosing parts is adapted so that it can receive a coloured ornament (7) which is visible through the said frame. The channel (5) closes on itself after following the whole external periphery of the encircling parts. The channel (5) is cut into the edge of this periphery except at the bridge for the nose (3) where the channel penetrates the said bridge while remaining open on the outside. The ornament (7) is in the form of a detachable elastic strip, introduced into the said channel and held there by its own elasticity. <IMAGE></p> |
