PURPOSE:To prevent lowering of braking force and to improve reliability by providing a cleaner for a braking portion on a brake shoe, thereby removing stain, water and the like. CONSTITUTION:A brake shoe with a cleaner for a braking portion comprises a brake shoe 1 and a cleaner 2 for a braking portion. The braking portion cleaner 2 is deeply brought into contact with the braking portion 6 to start removing stain, water and the like 5 through a discharge port 3. When the braking portion cleaner 2 deeply contacts the braking portion 6, and the brake shoe 1 contacts the braking portion 6, braking is started, and stain, water and the like 5 are continuously removed. Accordingly, the lowering of braking force due to stain, water and so on adhering to the braking portion can be reduced to improve brake efficiency.
