PURPOSE:To use conveniently the titled device without requiring a special channel selection change operation, when a power source is cut off, and also to set it exactly to an emergency alarm broadcast receiving state, by setting automatically the device to an emergency alarm broadcast receiving holding state, when the power source of the receiving device is cut off. CONSTITUTION:A control part 10 is provided with an emergency alarm frequency memory 13 for storing an emergency alarm frequency data, a power source cut-off detecting circuit 14 for detecting automatically a cut-off time of a receiver power source (main power source 9), and an emergency alarm frequency data selecting circuit 15 for selecting a data of said emergency alarm frequency memory 13 by a detecting output of the power source cut-off detecting circuit 14 and supplying it to a PLL circuit 6. In such a state, when the power source is cut off, a detection is executed by the power source cut-off detecting circuit 14, and a data of the emergency alarms frequency memory 13 is supplied to the PLL circuit 6. In such a way, the device is set automatically to a receiving holding state of an emergency alarm broadcast of a prescribed frequency determined by a data of the memory without executing a special channel selection change operation.
