In a stockpile removing device which has several bucket wheels arranged close to one another and a rake extending across the face of the stockpile, it is proposed that guide plates are installed in the region of the rake, the effect of which is to equalize the flow of material, so that the material available in front of the bucket wheels is virtually constant over the total travel distance. |
