PURPOSE:To enable air conditioning controlled separately at each zone of floor or story, making initial cost and running cost as well lower, by integrating a heat exchanger which brings the intake air temperatures close to the room temperatures by causing heat transfer by the heat fall between discharge air passages. CONSTITUTION:By the operation of an air conditioner 1, an air fan 14, a discharge air fan 18, an intake air fan 21, and the main body of the air conditioner 15 are simultaneously driven, causing the main body of the heat pump air conditioner 15 to conduct cooling and heating while a partial internal air circulation, intake of outdoor air, and discharge of internal air are carried out in by such flows of air as show by arrows, and cold air or hot air is blown into the inside of a room depending on the angle of registers 11. And the discharge air is discharged through a first and second heat exchanger 19, 20 to the outside, where the heat fall between the discharge and intake temperatures is absorbed, causing discharged heat in the discharge air to be transferred to the intake air side. As a result, the heat fall between the outside air taken in and the indoor air can be made smaller, reducing the load of the main body of the air conditioner.
