Polypeptide having the capacity of inhibiting the interaction of the virus held to be responsible for AIDS with the receivers T4 carried by the lymphocytes T4. Said peptide is selected amongst those which are represented amongst the general formulas: X-RFDS-Z, X-SDFR-Z, X-SDAR-Z, X-RADS-Z wherein X is a hydrogen atom or a peptidic group, Z is OH or a peptidic group, and the other letters represent specific amino acids (specification of amino acids designated by a single letter).
