PURPOSE:To stop the formation of an image when identification symbols are detected and to form the image when a password code is correct by providing a means which detects the identification symbols of the secret part of an original and a password code input means, and controlling the formation of the image. CONSTITUTION:The original G is placed on an original platen 2 and irradiated with light from a lamp and its reflected light is focused on a photosensitive body to form its image. Further, a spot light source and a detector, and the password code input means are provided by the spot. The identification symbols of the secret part, e.g. blue symbols S1 and S2 are provided to the original G and irradiated with the light from the spot light source to detect the positions of the identification synmbols by the detector. Signals of the positions specified by the identification symbols S1 and S2 are sent to a control circuit and an erasure array is put closely to the corresponding positions of the photosensitive body to erase the image of the hatched part shown by S1 and S2. At this time, a password code is inputted and when it is correct, the formation of the image is allowed. Thus, the secret original is identified automatically to stop the formation of the image and copying operation is also allowed according to the input of the password code. |
